The Book Trailer Award seeks to reinforce the importance and necessity of the presence of books in human life. It also aims to enhance the connection books have with other arts, the most prominent of which is the art of promotional advertising.

Artists in this field use their tools creatively based on the brilliance of the book and their exceptional abilities in drawing out distinct ideas.

Participation conditions and requirements:

  • All individuals, companies and institutions working in the field of promotional advertising can participate in the award.
  • Participants are required to provide evidence of the intellectual property ownership of the content they submit to compete for the award, and they shall bear moral and legal responsibility related to that content.
  • Participants are required to provide content that addresses the proposed award topic in each session of the award.
  • This session is devoted to the promotional advertising for the “Kharareef” book series by Emirati author Dubai Abulhoul, which was issued by Kalimat Publishing Group, including several books, such as: "Khuttaf Rafai, Umm Alsibiyan, Umm Alhilan, Umm Karba and Lifa, Pu Alsalasil, and Qawm Alddasis," provided that a promo is made either for one book only, or  for the entire book series.
  • The participant is not allowed to submit more than one promo.
  • Both individual as well as group participations are allowed.
  • The duration of the promo ranges between 30 and 60 seconds.
  • The quality of the promo is no less than (1080p) (30fps).
  • All participations will be submitted through this link.
  • Participations will be accepted until April 10, 2024.
