Workshop · Day 1 · Thu 22 October 2026, 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm · Aljada, Sharjah
Adapting Film and Animation into Webtoons is a workshop exploring how stories originally created for film or animation are transformed for the webtoon format. Led by webtoon creator and illustrator Park Chang-ha, this session examines the creative and technical shifts required to adapt scripts into engaging webtoon scenes and panels.
Key points include analyzing real adaptation examples, understanding how scripts are restructured for visual storytelling, and learning techniques to capture the unique language of webtoons. By the end of this workshop, attendees will have practical insights into adapting narrative content for webtoons and a clearer sense of the creative decisions involved.
