Making Monsters is a hands-on workshop exploring how sketched or illustrated creatures are transformed into believable on-screen characters. Led by Hair, Makeup & Prosthetics Designer and SFX Artist Theodore Salisbury, this session offers a practical look at the craft of bringing two-dimensional concepts to life through professional prosthetic techniques.
Key points include a live demonstration of sculpting and mould-making, insights into materials, texture, colour, and edge blending, and practical approaches for achieving high-impact effects on various budgets. By the end of this workshop, attendees will understand the full process of creating convincing prosthetic creatures for film and television.
