Co-Founder — giraffics studio

Abdulrahman Khedr is co-founder of giraffics studio, an Egyptian animation company producing commercials and short films across the Middle East and internationally. A media entrepreneur with more than 15 years in animation and film, he has collaborated with platforms including Disney on Kizazi Moto and TED-Ed, and helped earn giraffics international recognition, including an Annecy Jury Award.

Before giraffics, Khedr founded Axeer Studio and led it for a decade, producing a feature film, short films, music videos, and socially driven campaigns across the Arab world. His work today also includes developing original IP for social media and screen.

At SACC, Khedr will explore The IP Struggle and Building Regional Models, sharing insights on creating sustainable animation businesses and culturally rooted stories with global potential.
