Ashraf Ghory
Comic Book Artist / Filmmaker / Entrepreneur
Ashraf Al Ghory is a comic book artist, filmmaker and entrepreneur based in Dubai. He is best known for creating the UAE’s first CGI science fiction film, Xero Error, and for his Arabic graphic novel Antara.
Working across comics, film and CGI, Al Ghory brings together visual storytelling, character creation and worldbuilding through multiple mediums. His work spans both independent filmmaking and graphic narrative, with a focus on building original stories and screen-ready visual worlds.
At SACC, Al Ghory will share insights from this cross-disciplinary process in “Creating Characters, Worlds & Stories Across Art, Comics, Film and CGI,” and in The Cosplay Life Drawing Masterclass, offering attendees a practical look at design, storytelling and visual development.
