Hemeda is CEO/Co-founder and an Animation Director of Samaka Studio, a leading Egyptian animation studio in the MENA region that thrives on representing Egyptian visual culture and drawing inspiration & pride from it. Hemeda is a graduate of the High Cinema Institute in Egypt, within his 13 years of experience in working the field, Hemeda has accumulated a diverse experience by animating work featured in TV & cinema among those are “Hateer” (2012), and “Farkha Wa Laken” (2013). And has gathered immersive capacity in working with a myriad of animation styles.

In 2018, his passion towards representing & visualizing authentic visual culture moved him to confound Samaka Studio and Animatex Animation Festival to position authentic Egyptian/African animation as a strong competitor on both a regional and global scale.
