Shuzo John Shiota is the CEO of Polygon Pictures, where he has led the studio since 2003 and helped build its international presence. Under his leadership, Polygon has become a major developer of TV series and animated content for global audiences. He has also been recognized with a Special Achievement Award at the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival and a Hall of Fame Award from Animation Magazine.
Beyond the studio, Shiota has served as a judge at leading international festivals and events including Prix Ars Electronica, SIGGRAPH and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and chaired SIGGRAPH Asia in 2021.
