Walaa Jamil Sindi is an animation director and academic whose work centers on developing animation education and practice in Saudi Arabia. She has collaborated and trained with professionals from leading international studios and institutions including Pixar, Blue Sky Studios, and Gobelins Paris.
A founding member of a specialized Film Production and Animation program in Saudi Arabia, Sindi previously served as Program Director, helping shape its academic direction while supporting emerging Saudi talent and strengthening links between education and industry. Her work also spans cultural consultancy, professional training, creative initiatives, and jury participation in local and international contexts.
At SACC, Sindi brings a valuable perspective on animation education, talent development, and culturally rooted visual storytelling, with insights into how Saudi animation is growing within the regional and international creative landscape.
