Zumrut Pakoy is Programming & Presentation Director for Warner Bros. Discovery across MENA, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus, with 19 years of experience in kids’ entertainment programming. She leads editorial content strategy, acquisitions and channel operations, with a focus on building programming that connects with regional audiences.
Her work spans content strategy, scheduling, promotion, localization and regulatory compliance. Pakoy has also served as Executive Producer on the hit Turkish kids’ series Kral Şakir and Kucho: Super Ordinary Dog, and has helped launch regional original IPs including Kral Sakir (Laith the King) and two seasons of CN Tubers for Cartoon Network.
At SACC, she will share insights in The Making of a Hit / What Makes an Animated IP Break Through? Lessons from the Shows That Connected, drawing on her experience shaping animated brands for diverse markets.
