A Collage Workshop in Visual Storytelling
Workshop · Day 3 · Sat 24 October 2026, 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm · Aljada, Sharjah
A Collage Workshop in Visual Storytelling offers a hands-on exploration of narrative through collage, led by artist and designer German Fernandez Cantos. Participants will use original black-and-white characters and visual elements from Fernandez’s practice to create postcard-sized compositions, discovering how arrangement and scale can spark unexpected stories.
Key points include experimenting with cutting and layering visual pieces, incorporating words and handwritten notes to map out ideas, and exploring how playful combinations reveal new connections. By the end of this workshop, attendees will have created their own visual story maps and gained practical techniques for storytelling without the need for drawing experience.
