Led by actor and movement coach Terry Notary, known for his work on major film franchises, the session reveals the essential techniques behind believable non-human performances.
Key points include practical demonstrations of posture, breath, and rhythm in creature movement; insights into the use of Xsens inertial suits, optical marker systems, and real-time virtual production with Unreal Engine; and a look at how live performance is translated into digital animation. By the end of this masterclass, attendees will understand the physical and technological processes that underpin compelling creature performances in modern productions.
