WHAT FOLKLORE CREATURE THINK OF US?
Workshop · Day 1 · Thu 22 October 2026, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm · Aljada, Sharjah
What Folklore Creature Think of Us? is an interactive workshop led by mixed-media artist and author Jalal Luqman, inviting participants to reimagine traditional folklore from the perspective of the creatures themselves. Through shared storytelling and discussion, attendees will explore how these beings might view humans, their fears, and the stories they tell about us.
Key points include imagining folklore creatures’ cautionary tales about humans, considering how our world appears through their eyes, and exploring the personalities and relationships of these mythical beings. By the end of this workshop, participants—regardless of experience—will gain new tools for creative world-building and a fresh perspective on familiar stories.
