Chibi Manga & 4-Panel Storytelling

Chibi Manga & 4-Panel Storytelling is a beginner-friendly workshop focused on the essentials of creating charming chibi manga characters and crafting short four-panel Japanese manga stories. Led by Asmaa Al Remeithi from Wacom, this session offers hands-on experience with digital tools to help attendees understand the fundamentals of character design and visual storytelling.

Key points include mastering chibi proportions and facial expressions, learning the four Japanese story stages of Ki, Shō, Ten, and Ketsu, and using Wacom devices with MediBang Paint to create original Yonkoma manga. By the end of this workshop, beginners will have the skills to design their own digital chibi characters and structure engaging four-panel manga stories.
