Scoring Animation, Live is an interactive workshop exploring how music brings animated stories to life, led by composer and conductor Carlo Chiarotti of the Florence Pops Orchestra. Attendees will experience the creative process firsthand as the orchestra demonstrates how soundtracks are conceived, adapted, and performed to match animation.
Key points include practical demonstrations of composing for animation, live orchestral performances showing how music is tested with visuals, and a final screening of an animated film with the completed score. By the end of this workshop, ideal for beginners, participants will understand the fundamentals of scoring for animation and how music shapes the emotional impact of animated films.
