The Cosplay Life Drawing Masterclass offers artists a dynamic opportunity to develop their comic book drawing skills using live cosplay models. Led by comic book artist and filmmaker Ashraf Al Ghory, artist and director Shannon Eric Denton, and artist Gus Vazquez, this session focuses on capturing energy, attitude, and storytelling through a series of timed poses inspired by comics, fantasy, and pop culture.
Key points include practical guidance on gesture, movement, and anatomy; experimenting with composition and perspective; and learning creative approaches to visual storytelling from working professionals. By the end of this masterclass, participants of all experience levels will have gained greater confidence, new techniques, and the experience of sketching alongside established comic artists.
