Ashish Thapar is CEO of HiTech Animation Studios, where he leads a growing animation and post-production business working across 2D and 3D animation, VFX, and end-to-end production. With more than two decades in animation, production, and creative leadership, he has collaborated with companies including The Walt Disney Company, Netflix, Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Jim Henson Company, Dharma Productions, and Yash Raj Films.
At HiTech Animation Studios, Thapar has helped expand the studio’s international collaborations across Europe, South Korea, and Turkey, while supporting the development of original Indian IP and globally minded storytelling.
At SACC, he will share insights from producing Kurukshetra: The Great War of Mahabharata for Netflix, selling studio services internationally, and the producer’s role in building animation projects from brief to commercial proposal.
