Ferdy Adimefe is the CEO and founder of Magic Carpet Studios, one of Africa’s leading animation, gaming, and digital storytelling companies. Through the studio’s work with brands including Cartoon Network, Triggerfish, and Microsoft Xbox, he has helped expand the reach of African animation and storytelling on the global stage.

Adimefe’s work spans animation, gaming, and creative leadership, with international recognition for storytelling and innovation. Beyond the studio, he is also Curator of the Creative Nigeria Project, a non-profit initiative focused on the intersection of art, culture, innovation, and social advocacy.

At SACC, Adimefe will share insights from Africa’s fast-evolving animation landscape, including the opportunities and challenges of building original stories for international audiences and making the leap from short-form work to series and feature production.
