Zumrut Pakoy is Programming & Presentation Director for Warner Bros. Discovery, overseeing editorial content strategy, acquisitions, and channel operations across MENA, Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus. With more than 19 years in kids’ entertainment, she is known for shaping programming that connects with regional audiences while balancing localization, promotion, and regulatory requirements.

Her work spans content strategy, scheduling, and the launch of local original IPs, including Kral Şakir (Laith the King) and two seasons of CN Tubers for Cartoon Network MENA. She also served as Executive Producer on Kral Şakir and Kucho: Super Ordinary Dog, helping bring locally relevant animated content to wider markets.

At SACC, she brings a broadcaster’s perspective on how animated content is developed, positioned, and expanded for different audiences across the region and beyond.
